yes i remember his posting. ..but it also sticks out a considerable distance from the vinyl covered masonite GL side panel IIRC as you got the thickness of the table, plus the support bar underneath, as well as the spacing behind it. on the carat/wolfy its recessed flush into the plastic sidepanel, so you can fold the bed out w/ the table down flat against the wall.. carat/wolfy sidepanels also have the spring latch to hold it down (or supposed to as we all know they hang up all the time) so it wont flop around. did he cut the whole vinyl panel out where the table was, or just the top where the hinge brackets stick thru? in my opinion, a easier route would have just been to get the flip out side table from a '68-'74 westy - they just screw right to the masonite side panel and dont stick out as much, if you dont want to change the whole interior in back to the wolfy/carat setup. chris
