Hi Kevin, I would make certain that the vent or breather on the top of the ATF segment of the transmission is clear and unobstructed. Also be absolutely certain that the transmission is not overfilled with ATF. As for the installation of the new torque converter seal, be sure to pack the interior of the new seal with Vasoline petroleum jelly before installing. This will prevent the seal "garter" spring from popping out while the seal is being tapped into place. A displaced T/C seal garter spring will cause mysterious intermittent, gushing leaks usually when the ATF is very hot >200*F(stop & go driving, etc.).
