Has anyone used that socket that Sears sells for rounded bolts? -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Fredrich Hesterberg Sent: Monday, April 07, 2003 8:58 AM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: New exhaust install This is not a nice thing to do. Make sure you have a set of torches to heat the frozen, corroded, rusted, nuts before you start removing them. A cut off tool is a good thing also. Not a dremel tool,a air compressor powered cut off tool, when the nuts get rounded and can't be taken off, cut them. This job takes a lot of time, and is not easy. Good Morning, Fred
