I was just at the euro cars shop in denver on saturday for larry chase's
BBQ. I am considering almost any conversion under the sun. not because i
need it now that i have my resently resealed 2.1 wbx running great. but
because I've owned 2 syncros in the past--and have always lusted after
something different/more. tdi was my plan--might not do that anymore
anyway. I spent alot of time with ken morgan (owner of euro cars), had him
take me back into his shop and show me exactly what he is doing. i've been
rebuilding air cooleds for years--and fully understood what he was talking
about. I must admit--I was fully impressed with his work and him personally.
just a really nice guy who seems to have excellent customer service skills.
I know every one in this area is lining up to have service done in denver at
euro cars (verners in the boulder area--another story though). but his
revision E motor is quite spectacular with the ways he's gaining HP. just
got one in larry's van last week. so i'm sitting tight to here his review in
the next several months. and I know its been discussed here before saying
its impossible to get the numbers he claims--but dynos are forth coming.
