The Bently instructions for testing it say that up to one needle width of variation is normal. If your old gauge was a bit on the high side and this one was a little on the low side, that could account for the change. I've noticed the temp gauge is really sensitive to corrosion on the connectors, too -- corrosion makes it read low. |
