You didn't ruin all of them, did you? Run your part numbers out on the EKTA and see if other (Type 1,2,4 will work) somebody in SF has a head with dropped valve seats chocking the wheels on a Vanagon in your neighborhood. I've been eye balling a couple of WB Westies here in Dallas with 'Last a lifetime ACME bricks" behind the rear wheels, dead in their tracks going on two maybe three years now. Since I've got this Engine Ceramics shop open and have a 1/2 Acre of outside storage I might start scooping them up before the salvage yards get them. (Lord Save me from Waser boxers) my little air cooled buddy just goes and goes. I've learned to line it up on the expansion joint when parking in my driveway and the one oil drip it has is always landing in the same spot now a days. Vast improvement over the freckle effect.
