Fellows and fellaws: I would like a brand new South African Vanagon with a Westy conversion, right and know... I have around $1.72, after buying a new Honda Element. It was the most similar in view to the Vanangon I could find (ugly and convenient). Take a look at it on http://element.honda.com

My wife decided that I wasn't going to spend one more penny on the Westy after one head exchange, two water hoses blowing in parts in mid speedway traffic and one gasket dissolving. Now I have oil in the radiator and water in the crank. It's seems like a good idea since you don't have to worry what goes where...

For the moment, I'm vanagonless and looking at options for what to do with my Milky Way. The two most obvious are: carry her to my brothers river side property and use it as a tent, or using it as a tool shed in the backyard.

Sorry, this is not a consequence of the date... -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Mike Collum Sent: Martes, 01 de Abril de 2003 01:23 p.m. To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: Re: Fw: Re: gutless

I would absolutely buy a 2004 exact replica of my '85 Westy ..... but probably not until about 2011 when I could afford it ..... heheheh (I've had my '84 7 pass since 1991).

Mike '84 GL 7 pass automatic '85 GL Westy 4 speed
