To the many that responded, many, many thanks. It's reassuring to know that the van is running normal. Previous car a ’74 bug and previous van an ’81 air-cooled, so the whole water cooled thing is new to me. Am going to take one persons advice and install a switch so I can manually turn on the slow speed fan. First time the high speed fan went on last summer was in a drive thru… thought the van was going to take off
