Subject: clutch master weeping

well, really both of us... but seriously, the clutch master cylinder in my 1982 Westy is weeping from one of the mounting bolts that attaches it to the frame (not from the hose going to the slave, but from the bolt directly above it.) No other leaks. Does this mean I need a new clutch master, or can I simply replace the rubber o-rings Bentley has listed as being installed with those mounting bolts? Does anyone know why these mounting holes would go all through to the master cylinder chamber - that's what I really don't understand.

thanks,
