(Please pardon my previous blank message -- and my first to this list - oh my)

I'm a new member of this listserve -- owner of an '86 Westy, the latest in a long series of VWs. But my first vanagon ...

I've got a leaky power steering line (hi pressure side). The low pressure side looks manky too. I searched the archives for info, and ordered the high/low pressure rubber line that Frank Condelli from up nord there in Canada sells. Seems like a smart solution, esp. given the apparent cost and hassle of installing OE lines. Can anyone share experience about installing the Condelli lines, and if they're happy with things? Seems straighforward enough, and Frank gave me some good tips. Also, any other tips on bleeding the system beyond what Sir Bentley says? Many thanks --

Alan Cote
