Thanks John! I was wondering if this vent had anything to do with it. I recall the original auto trans I had (this is my 2nd) had a problem with that breather clogging up...when the mechanic pulled the ATF dipstick...fluid shot all over the place!

What causes them to clog? Is this a common problem?
