Subject: Replacing cylinder barrel with engine in van.
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii"

Hi Volks, I just pulled the cylinder head off my 1.9 to fix a leaking a leaking head gasket and accidentally pulled the cylinder barrels off with the head. Any tips for getting the cylinders back over the piston rings with the engine in the van? Is it possible/necessary/easier to remove the pistons with the engine in? Fortunately all was not in vane as one of my piston rings was cracked in half. Thanks in advance! Regards, Aaron -'85 Westy
