I have, on a stubborn broken head stud in the Vanagon. Worked ok, except they're a one-size-fits-all kind of arrangement, probably actually designed for SAE fasters. Problem I had was one size just cut enough off the stud to polish it nicely, and the next size down was almost too small to cut into the stud.

This is not a nice thing to do. Make sure you have a set of torches to heat the frozen, corroded, rusted, nuts before you start removing them. A cut off tool is a good thing also. Not a dremel tool,a air compressor powered cut off tool, when the nuts get rounded and can't be taken off, cut them. This job takes a lot of time, and is not easy. Good Morning,
