Bill: I use a Sears floor jack. I use long bolts (3") and drop the rear engine cross bar so it doesn't bend or tear the engine mounts. I support the engine with a 2x4" from the top of the engine bay through any engine top bolt hole with a strong piece of wire or eyebolt / U bolt combination and with the tranny loose from the linkage and front mount I can get to the bolts easier. With the engine hanging down 3" in the rear and the front dropped about 6" the tranny slides out at a better angle to clear the crossbar tranny mount. I clamp the clutch rubber line with some vise grip pliers to stop that incessant dripping. If you got a good imagination I think you can picture that.
