I'm considering buying an 86 Westfalia that seems in pretty good shape but with one major issue: because the power steering was leaky, the current owner cut the belt and plugged the pump etc. so the power steering no longer works but the pieces are still there. Not having power steering in my neighborhood will be a problem. Does anyone have any experience restoring power steering? Also, any estimates how much work it'll take to fix the leaky power steering if I can get it restored? Jennifer Dumpert undine@hotmail.com
