Yeah, they have a lifetime guarantee, but you still have to do the work to replace them. I have seen joints in rebuilt axles fail while the boots are still intact. I now avoid them because I don't like the idea of a joint failing without warning. (normally, if the boot is intact, the joint is ok. If the boot is ripped, its a warning that its time to clean and re-pack the joint) Bill ----------------------------------- Rebuilt CVs are a generic parts store item. They may have to order them for you and most list members don't rave about them but if they come with a lifetime guarantee you just got to find out how much, how good that guarantee is. |
