We do have a virus protection program (Norton) but update not as often as
once a week, just whenever we remember. Thanks for the reminder.
A few months ago we thought we got hacked but it turned out to be a hotmail
problem with Windows XP which we finally solved due to a guest who was a
major computer geek who tracked down the problem. If anyone has hotmail and
Windows XP limited account and runs way slow the fix is:
Hotmail solution for XP limited accounts
Click on "Start" & choose "run". . .Type "regedit32.exe"
Click on HKEY_CURRENT_USER, then "Software" then "Microsoft"
If there is a key called "MessengerService" click on it. If not, click on
Edit, New
Select "Key" and type "MessengerService"
Click "MessengerService" key, then edit, "New", "string value" and type
"PrimaryService" and hit enter, then right click on the new value, select
modify and type ".NET Messenger Service".
