Matthew, I've never done the job myself. You might already be aware of which pads not to use, but just in case... Several times when the van has been in for front pads and rotors the shops have a tendency to put organic pads on instead of the metal (maybe that's bi-metal) pads that are recommended. You need the upgraded pads if you want the pads to last. Check and make certain you've got the recommended pads.
