Subject: Julianna update: She's in Boston!

I had a great long conversation with Julianna on tuesday evening. She was calling from Boston where she will be for a few days. From boston she heads to her old family homestead near buffalo then to niagra falls, then to moab, then slc and home. She is planning to be back in Corvalis on 4/17. Her are a few points of the conversation to be passed on:

*They survived the ice storm. Pretty nasty ice with about 1" on the sides of the bus. They got a hotel that night! (good call!) That day they 'only' drove 200 miles (pretty good IMHO for an ice storm!)

*They WERE at Everybus. They were near the "woodpile." At Everybus a local guy GAVE her his spare tire to replace her busted rim and tire, so now she has a spare again. Cool! They got to everybus at 8'oclock!

*Gas milage: when Julianna is driving they get about 21/22 mpg. When phillip is driving (hubby) they are getting about 17mpg. Julianna drives at 60-65 mph where phillip drives at 75+. (she is running a tiico btw)

*The Rastfalia (her bus) is doing well. She has a click in the front left wheel. She'll check today if it goes away when she taps the brakes (ie bearing issues) or if it get worst when turning left or right. And to keep an ear out of CLUNKS! very bad.

*Bob (bobphotoshare), she needs your #. Pmaial me for her landline in boston.

*Anybody in Boston want to meet up with her in the next day or two, emial me for her landline!

And that is about it. She is doing well and the spirits are very high. What a fun trip! I'm jealous!
