82 air cooled vanagon manual transmission.

Is the front transmission mount rebuildable? My bracket is rusted badly, but the rubber looks ok. I can get another bracket, but the rubber is bad. Can I remove the rubber from one bracket, and insert it into the other, without destroying it?

Anyone have a spare mount in decent shape for sale?

David
