Sounds like i'll be trying to find vw brass alloy nuts
for my exhaust (plus a little of the anti-sieze
couldn't hurt).  I'm actually a little embarrassed i
asked this question because my college materials
science class already gave me the answer.  Drastically
different atomic sizes to prevent
diffusion/galling/siezing.  However, when i tried
removing a manifold a year ago, i just remember each
of those brass nuts rounding right off...

I was just hoping there was a better way.
