My friend has a '80 full Westy in overall average condition except that the engine is in pieces. It died (#3 valve seat went) and he took it apart intending to fix it but never did. My son is interested in buying the van. Since I am in the middle between a friend and a relative, with both asking me how much it is worth, I thought I would throw it out to the list.

Has anyone here bought or sold something comparable? Want to venture an opinion anyway? How do we dicide what a fair price would be for my son to pay my friend?

Thanks,

Bill in the Southwest
