Due to impending financial hardship, it looks like I need to sell BOTH my
Vanagons.There's a photo ad for the brown '81 on the Samba, and the other is
the dark blue '90 GL Carat that I brought home a couple months ago. Here are
some specs on each:

'81 Transporter

Good:
• Runs/drives/stops/steers great (daily driver)
• Low-mileage 2.0 aircooled/4spd. manual trans
• Newly rebuilt starter
• New Dunlop tires
• Lots of other new parts
• Everything works but the items listed below
• Clean interior/frt seats

Bad:
• Ugly paint
• Gas heater is non-op
• Horn needs to be rewired
• Pushrod tubes drip a little bit

Asking $950

'90 GL Carat

Good:
• Dee-luxe model w/ working PW, PL, CC, tint etc
• Working R-134 A/C
• Five factory alloy wheels
• Very nice interior with all seats and "mattress"
• Clean (recently rebuilt?) 2.1 WBX that runs nice, no coolant leaks
• Nice dark blue metallic paint

Bad:
• Needs new auto trans/ 4spd. conversion (removal started)
• Side-swipe damage along pass side (nothing major)
• Original TX title, but has "insurance salvage" notation
Asking $1100
