There is a ground wire that goes to the metal shield on the outside of the distributor cap. Maybe somebody has discarded the shield?

Just below distributor cap, on the right side of the distributor itself I have what appears to be a "prong" that would accept a spade type connector. This is on my '85 1.9L. Any ideas? Another grounding site perhaps? Vince
