Can anyone offer any advice. Just got the van back from the dealer. VW dealer won't buy gas analyzer for the Tech. because new vehicles use the computer analyzer. Tech. had to adjust by "ear".

Thought I would try to adjust the air bypass myself. How critical is the adjustment? Thought I would get a readout from the oxygen sensor. Maybe try to get it to stabilize around 500mv.

I can see fuel vapors coming out of the exhaust while driving. Especially if accelerating. Seems to run OK, just too rich a mixture. George
