There is a higher temp version--mine says good to 2000F and specifically lists that it is good for exhaust components including turbochargers. The Corvair club found that brass nuts tend to loosen and are too soft to really hold their torque. Stainless on stainless tends to gall.

Fred, The anti-seize is a greased base metal compound . The grease clearly gets cooked by the exhaust but the metal remains in the threads of the nuts and bolts and prevent the like metals"nut and bolt" from seizing"becoming one" by acting as a contaminent between the two surfaces. Perhaps you should try a different type of anti-sieze? gary I have found that anti-seize is not any good on exhaust fasteners. The heat of the exhaust soon cooks it off and after short period it is like you put nothing on them at all. It is a good idea, I use it. But worthless on exhaust parts. Good Morning, Fred
