OK.. Went to a junk yard and found this part.. after I was finished putting it on I found that my gas tank was rusted and I need a new gas tank. How hard is it to put in a gas tank?

Thanks Shannon 91 Vanagon ----- Original Message ----- From: "Shannon Mitchell" <vze4rq5j@VERIZON.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Friday, April 11, 2003 6:02 PM Subject: Part # Help.. For 91 Vanagon

Hello..

I need the metal piece that the gas cap screws into... This is not the plastic "Grommet to Body" I ordered what I thought was the part from Bus Depot and got a plastic "Grommet to Body" for a Syncro.. after calling Bus Depot I find that they don't have this part and would need a part number to order it..

can anyone help? got one? got the part #?

Thanks Shannon 91 Vanagon
