       Shawn, use Dielectric Grease for keeping electrical connections from 
corroding.  It also enhances the electrical conductivity of a connection.  
Use it on ALL electrical connections.  Available at UAP, Canadian Tire, etc.  
For cleaning corroded connectors I've had some success with liquid flux for 
soldering.  Dip the connectors in the bottle for a few minutes (best method) 
or brush on with a small brush (not as efficient).  If the terminals are 
really corroded and the connection to the wire is corroded it may be best to 
cut it off strip back the wire to fresh clean copper and crimp on a new 
connector.  You can obtain most of the terminal ends necessary at UAP.
