Subject: Parting out an '81...
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

It looks like my beloved '81 may be worth more dead than alive, so I'm considering parting it out in the interest of finishing my '90 GL. The main parts of interest would be the good-running 2.0 longblock, with approx. 10k on it, as well as the solid-shifting 4sp. trans, and all of the trim/doorpanels/lighting etc. All the glass it good, and there are no major dents and no cancer in the sheetmetal. I also have the complete injection system with ecu (bus is currently running a Weber), a newly rebuilt starter, pristine dash (brown), nice front seats (tan/brown), nice middle and rear seats from a later model (grey/black), and probably some other stuff too. The bus is currently on the road and all systems are "go," so everything is plug'n'play. I'm looking for a good 4-spd trans, linkage and pedal setup to convert my '90 from an automatic, so I'm willing to do some trading. If any of this stuff is of interest to you, p-mail me and make me an offer! Oh, and the whole bus is available in drive-away condition for $950... Anyway, thanks for looking and take it easy-

Jon Joyce Oklahoma City
