Subject: Broken front window lift -- How to fix ??

Can't seem to find any info on the electric lift in my Bentley.

My front window lift (bracket) is broken right where it attaches to the little "bump" on the regulator cable that lifts the window up and down.

Got all the bolts out, but the cable seems to go 360 degrees through the electric motor....??? The cable also goes through the verticle bar that holds the lift bracket and I can't get the bar and bracket loose from the cable and out of the door to replace the broken part.

How do I free the cable and get the verticle bar and the lift bracket out??

Does the cable detach from the motor somehow.

Warren C. (90 Syncro Westy)
