A few friends of mine did this run last year when it left from NYC. Let me just say, the cars that were in the parking garage inspired awe... Vipers, 360 modenas, 993 and 996TT's, a 550 maranello spider, various lambo's, a few MTM RS4's, Skyline GT-R's, you name the car you've always dreamed of, and it was there. Simply awesome stuff. Yup, people got arrested last year, too. No biggie, since these guys have the money to post bail and usually skip back to Europe afterwards. I know of 3 guys that flew in from england, bought Ducati 900's, all red, in NYC, ran the race across the country and left the bikes at the airport in LA with the keys in them and flew back to England. Damn Eurotrash. :-) Joe --- no1of consequence <iin10ded@hotmail.com> wrote: > > this rocks. i wanna play. currently accepting all > offers to independantly > fund a campaign next year. takers? > > http://sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/c/a/2003/04/18/BA272954.DTL > > > > > |
