Steve...Most likely the 3/4 slider is history. I have seen a few late model factory sliders break and that is why I use a custom built one made out of tougher stuff.. My '91 Carat let me down this morning. All was fine till I went to exit the Interstate and the van would not come out of 4 th gear. The gearlever just wont budge. It has not shown any signs of problems before. Clutch works fine. Same problem with or without engine running. Could this be the infamous 3-4 slider problem ?
