Sikaflex caulking is THE stuff for siding and window
installs, I use it a lot at work.  Paintable and stays
flexible.

It's definately NOT the stuff for engine/tranny
mounts.

I tried poly mounts in my Scirocco back in the day and
found they transmitted too much vibration, really only
for racing.  FWIW, they're still available from
performance VW tuners, try Techtonics Tuning.
