I think it also depends on what you're willing to fix in the parking lot
of an interstate rest stop.

Think hard about what types of work you're willing to do in a poor
location under bad conditions, and what work you'd rather have a shop do
for you instead.  Be honest with yourself, and remember, you're on
vacation.  Any tools that apply only to jobs you don't want to tackle
under those conditions, leave at home.
