When I went from 14" Carats to the 16" ers I have now, the tire diameter
changed upward by 1/10 inch...no change in "gearing" at all and no change in
performance. I was driving 225's before and still do but now my sidewalls
are quite a bit lower, 60's vs 70's. The TIICO allows the gear range to be
used more due to the increased 1000 rpms. It climbs in 3rd gear at 4500 rpm
easily.
