Actually I've made every effort to keep my Westy Pure Stock. (hubcaps excepted) No FuFu wheels, no holes not put there in manufacturing. And YadaYada you know! I'm sure there are 15/16 and possibly 17" wheels that when fitted with the right tires will give the same rolling distance per tire revolution. I just question; Why waste that money to have the same thing. Sure you might save 30$ a tire but with the wheel conversion, lug nuts etc. You'd have to but 5 sets of tires at substantially less than quality C or D rated 14" to justify it. The only thing that makes a Westy a Westy is that it is what it is. An 800$ set of wheels isn't going to change the overall box of lead Westy. For those of you with chrome spark coil covers I just say "good going" that helps a lot.
