Wow what a text clip I just did! --------------- Clip ------------------ Do you Federal Vanagon guys have to remove the EGR filter each time you want to check the valves on that side? It sure looks like you'd have to! --------------- Clip -------------------- My 83 Air Cooled has passed every exhaust gas emissions test without the square cannister, EGR valve. Took them off eight years ago. Texas is pretty strict with wheel dyno and the whole works. Us air cooled guys only need to adjust the valves once when we install the engine, new fangled hydraulic lifters I hear.

Stan
