I'm not going to reset my odometer while moving, are you nuts? No it's not because I'm afraid of breaking it...

I've got too much to do already while moving; steering; braking; shifting; sipping my latté; holding my cellphone; taking notes for later; booting up my laptop; reading the op/ed page; yelling at the radio; speaking of which I have to press the station buttons on the radio and adjust the volume constantly; plus then there's reading the map and actually using my turn signals; using sign language to communicate with other drivers; trying to get the dash lights to work; pulling my socks up; tucking in my shirt; checking the mirrors for cops; picking up the baby's pacifier; checking her diaper; pointing at the wildlife; noting gas and coolant temp gauge postions; switching the wiper and heater controls; digging in the glovebox for the pen; etc; etc.

So I'll stick to resetting the odo before moving off.

:^)
