We purchased an ‘86 Syncro about two months ago. Good shape & well
maintained. The other day, the windshield wipers stopped working. They had
worked without issue up until that time. My wife was idling at stop, engaged
and stalled… When she started up again, the wipers were dead. Checked the
relay, suspect the switch. How common are sudden switch failures? Any wise
words or insights regarding what might be the problem or how to diagnose?
