Subject: Need information on Bosch temperature sensors (More on 8 miles to
              the gallon)
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

First, let me say, "Thanks" to all who have responded with suggestions for solving the 8 miles to the gallon problem with my van. I am working on the problem.

Does anyone know where I can find the specs for the following sensors? Bosch 191 Bosch 346

The 341 came with my engine. I thought it was defective and replaced it. The 346 was sold to me as a replacement and the range seems to be different from the 341. I am trying to determine if the 346 is defective. I ran a temperature/resistance check on both. The old 341 seems to be within the specs in the manual, but the 346 isn't.

I replaced the 346 with the old 341 which seemed to check out OK. Still have a problem with mileage. Dealer is ordering some parts to try. The fuel pressure is within range. One suggestion is that the return fuel line from the injectors could be clogged up and causing the problem. Is this possible? Thanks. George
