Hi there , Summary Head job needed job done, All of a sudden #1 cylinder Knocking. Auto tran had seals replaced. Coolant in trans cooler replaced but tranny does not go into 3rd or reverse running rich, puff of white smoke 5 minutes after starting. New water pump, distributor cap , button, new seals front and many many in the cooling system. Dont drive the van, affraid of ruining case. much $ spent on new heads exsaust etc. Now looking at Boston B engine and can someone relate their AT rebuild cost and story if you wish. anyhow pretty much bummed. just venting R. Lince
