Hello.


How do I identify a starter for a '87 manual trans Vanagon??




I grabbed a starter that was laying in the passenger compartment of a '87
Vanagon, just because it was there.  Engine was freshly pulled and some misc
parts were lying around.  Now I don't even know if it is truly a Vanagon
starter.


It does have a Bosch name and some sets of numbers, but it also has a
Chrysler ID  and it looks kind of small for a Vanagon.


HelP ! ! !


(( I understand that the 81-86 starter is part # 025 911 023A, Bosch SR19X.
What are smilar numbers on the '87 Starter?? ))
