Subject: Stalls in the rain
Content-Type: text/plain; charset="iso-8859-1"

Hi All,

Question for you out there in Vanagon land. My Syncro appears to not like the rain much as it stalls out in it! Just drvining along on the freeway in heavy rainstarted stuttering and then it shut off on me. I coasted to the side and started it right up, no problem at all. Got up to freeway speeds again and it quit again. Pulled of, tried to start it, fired right up and went off again. This time I made it about 10 miles before the cycle repeated itself - the main difference being it was not raining as hard. After the last episode I continued on my trip (of approximately 1200 dry miles) and there were no more problems at all. Anyone have any suggestions on what may be going on? I already have the afm harness incase anyone is thinking that may be what I'm lacking.

Thanks! Hans
