Somewhere in the vanagon.com site is an interesting article on "What do you
carry in your vanagon."Anyone know where it is? I've forgotten.

My choices? Tool kit and rubber gloves, paper clip & piece of cardboard the
size of your rear cushion (to lay on when working under the van.)

Now that I am a new Westy owner, I need to pick your brains... simple
question:

What tools do you keep in your vannies? What are the essential tools to have
for basic maintenance and emergency repair (I already have duct tape
covered! :-) ? Okay.. so it was *two* simple questions.
