I purchased my 91 vanagon in 2000 with 55,000 miles on it. I drove it from
Lake George NY to Maine every weekend for 2 years with no problems.. When
the odometer read 107,000 last year.... yup you guessed it replaced the
heads. she has been great to me.. now with the mileage getting up there I
see a few more repairs in my near future but hey they are a labor of love
:)
