I have had 2 buses with the fuel injection. Never a problem, and good service. With this one being a 2bbl it still gives the same great service but less hassle. I too though it was a Weber conversion but it has a Motorcraft electric choke installed. The power, even with the 009 and points, is outstanding. Again, have had 2 others with a 2.0L and this is by far the most powerful and clean running. Doesn't hurt that it has a fresh rebuild in it with new German heads.... I'm in love, just wanted to hookup with other owners to compare notes and such. I can easily put the original distributor back in but if it ain't broke; don't fix it. Don't have to worry about carb icing-this is sunny Central FL. Take Care Paul |
