Alan, These sunroofs are drained by flexible tubes attached at the corners of the sunroof bay. Perhaps these tubes are clogged, or even kinked somewhere. I've had my golf bathe me due to kinked drain tubes where they exited the body. G'luck!

Help! The problem I have with my 84 Sunroof Vanagon is that, after it rains, when I stop for the first time while driving, a nice sized gush (a constant flow, really), which lasts for about 5 seconds comes down from the rear corners of the sunroof, while it is closed. Are the rear drains clogged? Also: I have a 4 speed, and the shifter is stiff from 4th, pushing it up to 3rd, and also from 2nd gear, pushing it up to 1st, like at a stop sign. Any suggestions/remedies greatly appreciated! Alan 84 GL __________________________________ Do you Yahoo!? The New Yahoo! Search - Faster. Easier. Bingo. http://search.yahoo.com |
