Don't let these people discourage you! I once got a '71 Kombi for 300$USD that took me from Canada to Central America, and back. I also got a great little '73 Campmobile for 200$USD, down in Louisiana. Still running A1 three years later! Also I just got an '86 Vanagon Camper GL for 600$USD...... and drove it to work today, no problems! The interior and exterior is mint too!! Keep your eyes open, and eventually you'll find something. One thing..... I suggest you keep your eyes open for OTHER types of vehicles too. VW is great, but some other companies made nice vans too! Good luck, Shawn. |
