In regards to the below post: I would NEVER put a 35 lb PSI tire on a Vanagon Westy or Syncro. I have bought 2 VW Vanagons and both came with tires that were SHOT to hell. I personally don't see how they didn't blow out and roll the van. Both vans had infamous 35 PSI tires of various brands on them.

IMHO you are rolling the dice, I don't care who endorses them.

My 1995 Eurovan Camper has Goodyear RV (G64) tires on it (rated C with 50 PSI) and the 2 in the front have separated belts (shot to hell in only 20k miles). I ordered two Noikian 6 plys for it this week and currently have the van parked till they arrive. needless to say I am VERY disappointed with Goodyear tires.

My 2 cents on safety and responsibility while on the road.
