Ron: I'll add my two cents worth here as well. I lived with the sticking 3rd gear for almost a year, but I dealt with it by double shifting from 2nd to 4th and avoiding 3rd at all costs. Driving in the Ozarks was tough, but I could get to work and back on the Interstate and other roads to my job. didn't do much pleasure driving in it over that time span. I had Weddle Engineering rebuild me a tranny, but both he and AA Transaxle come very highly recommended. I spent about $1500 on my tranny job, but added a diferent r/p and a taller 4th gear which I wouldn't do if I had the choice all over. The 4.57 rp is okay, but hill climbing is less than exciting and there is a big drop off in rpms from 3 to 4. the 3400 rpms at a true 70 mph on the flat ground is nice thogh!!
